Nataly Torres

Economist and Master in Rural Territorial Development. PhD student in Territorial Development at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences, FLACSO Ecuador (2023-2027). Member of the research group “Interdisciplinary Gender Studies” and the “Turning Land into Capital” project. Work experience in university teaching and research in the area of social sciences. I have published in indexed journals, books, and dissemination documents on studies of rural territorial dynamics and transformations, political ecology, and gender studies.

Project

The project analyzes the relationships between mining actors and landowning elites in the context of the development of mining projects and how land plays an important role in the process of capital reproduction.
