
She holds a PhD in History from the Freie Universität Berlin (2012) and is a full time Professor-Researcher at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla.
She belongs to the National System of Researchers (Level II), the PRODEP Register (SEP) and the Institutional Register of Researchers (BUAP); she is leader of the Academic Body Historical Studies of the FFyL-BUAP and is part of the ""Young Ambassadors"" Program of the Deutsch Akademischer Austauschdienst.
She obtained the Latin America Chair 2016-2017 at the Université de Toulouse Jean Jaurès, has done research stays at the Lateinamerikas Institut of the FU-Berlin and at the Université Toulouse-Jean Jaurès. He received the 2012 Genaro Estrada Prize awarded by the Historical Archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the best research on the history of Mexico's international relations; he has been a speaker and lecturer at national and international events.
He has published books, book chapters and research articles in specialized national and international journals.
He is currently technical manager of the project Historia del auxilio social en Puebla, siglos XIX-XX (A1-S-38310) of the SEP-Ciencia Básica program with funding from FOSEC-CONAHCyT.
